The International Air Transport Association (IATA) is the trade association for the world’s airlines, representing some 280 airlines or 83% of total air traffic. IATA support many areas of aviation activity and help formulate industry policy on critical aviation issues.

Become an IATA Cargo Agent means get industry recognition, in addition to joining the distribution network of IATA member airlines.  As an IATA agent, we will join the Cargo Account Settlement Systems (CASS).

In short words which are the benefits both for our clients and providers?

First of all, our work process must comply with ICHM.

The IATA Cargo Handling Manual (ICHM) will raise our awareness in providing the guideline and working instructions of the Cargo Handling activities and also in understanding the door-to-door activities and their impact on the supply chain. By implementing standardised procedures for safety, security, efficiency and quality, will help increase the flow of cargo.

In the end  the “IATA effects” will be:

  • Speed and efficiency
  • Improved services to shippers
  • Satisfaction of their Customers
